NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. Further, it aims at creating a pool of organized, trained and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life, who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose.

NSS laid out the aim of students: The first duty of the students should be, not to treat their period of study as one of the opportunities for indulgence in intellectual luxury, but for preparing themselves for final dedication in the service of those who provided the sinews of the nation with the national goods & services so essential to society. Advising them to form a living contact with the community in whose midst their institution is located, instead of undertaking academic research about economic and social disability, the students should do “something positive so that the life of the villagers might be raised to a higher material and moral level”.
In Jhunjhunwala P.G. College we 2 units of NSS is running headed by Dr. R.K. Maurya, Asst. Professor, Department of teacher’s education and Mr. Arvind Yadav, Lecturer, Department of Physical education respectively.
Shahabdi and Paigapur Villages of Paliya- gramsabha of Masodha block was selected by NSS volunteers for various activities.
One week camp was organised there with schedule of various activities like voter awareness campaign, beti padhao beti bachao, etc.
The Indian Red Cross is a voluntary humanitarian organization having a network of over 700 branches throughout the country, providing relief in times of disasters/emergencies and promotes health & care of the vulnerable people and communities.
It has 7 fundamental principles i.e. humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity and universality.
Red cross unit of our college is headed by Dr. Arun Kumar Ojha, Asst. Professor, Department of Hindi under this training and certification conducted successfully in first aid, voucher and medellan.
